We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect and beautiful wedding day at the Old Mill ~ from the incredible historic venue itself, to the delicious food, beautiful reception spaces and Chapel, and helpful and professional staff, our journey to the altar was a seamless and thoroughly enjoyable one for us and our guests. In particular, we had the pleasure of working with our wedding Officiant Rev. Mark Aitchison, our catering executive Rebecca Middleton, and hosts Luba L and Dimitri who were all so on top of things in the days leading up to the event and on the wedding day. I’m sure things can get chaotic behind the scenes, but they were professional, in control, and so incredibly kind and thoughtful. We appreciated their ability to stay on top of things and anticipate any hiccups along the way. Overall, we loved our experience and would recommend this venue to any couple looking for a professional and seamless experience.

We’d like to personally THANK YOU for all your support in coordinating our wedding day Saturday!

Before the wedding, there were many aspects from the first day we met Lotoya (on a whim while driving by and scouting for a ceremony location) to choosing The Old Mill for our ceremony (and reception!) to the planning stages of menu selections, layout and itinerary. Lotoya, you’ve been patient with us (and answered my many questions!). And Rebecca, you organized the final details before our big day and ensured everything was captured.

On our wedding day, a SPECIAL THANK YOU to all the staff at The Old Mill. Our Room Captain, Dimitri was attentive and ensured things went very smoothly, which it did. Our server, Ivana (sorry, I think that was her name) was super sweet and we received great service with our many courses. Our bartender was also great during our cocktail hour and dinner service and was attentive to topping up wine/champagne glasses. And thank you to the friendly front lobby ladies.

As for the food, we are THRILLED with our menu selections. Everything was on point, and we can say it was a highlight. The food was delicious!

A final thank you to Reverend Mark, he was FANTASTIC!!! We’ll also reach out to him separately to thank him.

We love the Old Mill!

If you are looking for the perfect venue for your wedding, we highly recommend choosing the Old Mill. We experienced an foreseeable cancellation at another venue just two weeks before our wedding, and the Old Mill was able to accommodate our wedding at the last minute, to absolute perfection. We worked with Rebecca, the Event Coordinator, who helped us plan every detail perfectly and helped us put together our vision on an accelerated schedule. She took so much care in every single detail of our wedding.

On the day of our wedding, our ceremony, event room, and dinner were all perfection and high quality. There are also so many unique parts of the venue that were amazing for photos. The staff that we worked with day of were so kind, incredibly organized, and ensured that our wedding stayed on schedule. Our guests had such an amazing time and the Old Mill helped us have the best wedding day ever. We highly recommend this venue!

I want to thank you Rebecca from the bottom of our hearts for providing us with such an incredible wedding day. It was so seamless working with you, and thank you so much for your kindness, patience, organization, and coordination in putting our day together on such short notice. Our day was so perfect, that I truly feel like I forgot that our wedding was cancelled two weeks before our big day. It just felt like it was meant to be, and the Old Mill will always hold such a special place in our hearts. We initially hesitated to book a venue that looked so traditional, but Rebecca was responsive, professional, patient, and informative from day 1 of our wedding planning process. She gave us a thorough tour, answered all of my many questions, and broke down the expenses for us based on our estimated guest numbers before even booking. None of the other venues that we looked at provided that information for us. We literally booked the Old Mill and changed our ideas for our wedding because of her professionalism, and that was 120% the right move! The garden is a beautiful place to take pictures. We didn’t need a studio or other place to go to on the day of – everything happened at the Old Mill. The event team were truly mind readers and provided decorations that we weren’t even aware would be provided. I had mentioned in passing that I wasn’t a huge fan of a fence on the Guildhall patio and was told that nothing could be done so I let it be. Lo and behold, it was covered with greenery and potted flowers on the day of our wedding! The cabinet behind the head lable was beautifully decorated with candles and ornaments that were beyond our expectations. The catering & service tear greeted us on arrival, and Robert, our bartender, got rave reviews from our friends and family. The food was excellent – the steak was perfectly cooked, and the strawberry shortcake was the perfect end to dinner. Our non-vegetarian friends were even jealous of the tagine that our vegetarian friends got – not an easy feat! Our guests were also stunned by the kindness and efficiency of the wait staff. Their timing was impeccable – they allowed the flow of the wedding to go uninterrupted. All in all, the food, service, and atmosphere of the Old Mill was exceptional. Their long history of planning events made the whole process way less stressful than it could have been. If you want a venue that can cater and execute a wedding in their sleep with little involvement from you on the day of, then we would highly recommend Old Mill!”

The team at Old Mill were truly remarkable to work with. We started planning our wedding during the pandemic and they were extremely flexible and accommodating with us. Rebecca guided us through the whole process and she was there to answer all of our questions. We really could not have had such a seamless wedding without Rebecca’s guidance and input.
The staff on the day of the wedding was so nice and friendly. It is clear that everyone there enjoys what they do. I would definitely recommend this venue to others for their wedding. The food was great too!

Old Mill was beautiful, there were many great places for picture both inside and outside. The staff the day of were wonderful from Dimitri the day of coordinator, Willima the ceremony lead, Mark the officiant, Robert the bartender and all the servers they were very professional and warm. The bridal suit was perfect for a land zone for stuff and pre ceremony snacks.

We would like to take this time to thank you for making our wedding an amazing experience for us, we would like to Thank Wilma our room captain and the servers for the great service we receive, everyone is talking about how great the food was and especially the Strawberry Shortcake.  Robert our bartender is still receiving praise from our guests  for his talents and the drinks he was serving up.

Our experience was just amazing and wonderful, the location perfect we have done a review with Wedding Wire for the Old Mill we discover the Old Mill through Wedding Wire.

The Chapel on site is so convenient with the Old Mill Minister makes it a convenient place for having a wedding.

We are very grateful for the Referral List provided by the Old Mill, Photographic Memories Bob Vienneau & Brenda, did our video and photography our pictures and videos are stunning they know all of the nice areas of the Old Mill to take the pictures. MacMillan Entertainment Group did our music, our DJ  Isaac was just amazing our Florist Oleander Floral Design did a great job with our floral arrangements.

We are very pleased with the Old Mill Resort and plan to have all of our  future celebration there.  Old Mill Resort is the ideal location for anyone planning a small or large wedding.

From start to finish we experienced nothing but the best. Rebecca was our wedding director. She was sooooo sweet and ensured every detail was taken care of. We had a lot of hiccups while planning, on my side especially I had a lot of people who were covid cautious and I wanted to try to make people feel as comfortable as possible. Rebecca really helped with this as she tried to meet our needs as much as possible. We were also able to set up the day before which was just PERFECT! I was so excited that I was able to set up and was able to see the room before anyone else did. The Officiant Mark was so nice and such a sweet person, we had a zoom meeting with him before hand and met him in person the day of our wedding, he was nothing but sweet and guided us throughout the ceremony and made us feel comfortable and confident (as you can get super nervous speaking in front of people). The day of the wedding is always chaotic but our wedding day captain was a DREAM! Dimitri was wonderful to work with and made sure everything ran smoothly. I had a super long veil and he helped me up the stairs with it and into the chapel! If you’re considering the Old Mill do not hesitate. Everyone here is wonderful and such a breeze to work with and really works as a team! Thank you Rebecca, Mark, Dimitri and everyone who helped us achieve our dream day!

We held my daughter’s bridal shower there yesterday and it turned out just great.  I dropped off items there at the event and could see how well executed it was.
