Award-winning vocalist ZOE CHILCO is a Canadian singer and songwriter performing and recording jazz and blues, standards, and originals. With a discography comprising nine CDs, and a tenth one in the works recorded with top Toronto musicians, her voice has been described as “velvety and romantic…but at the same time, full of power”.

Her compositions have been played around the world, from Canada and the USA to Germany, the Netherlands, Australia, Brussels, France, Italy, Hungary, Spain, Argentina, and the UK.

She was a finalist at www.songwritingcontest.co.uk/2002.html., and was voted one of the top ten listeners’ choices for Blues Radio Germany.  In October of last year, she had the pleasure of singing at the Cork Jazz Festival in Ireland.

This evening’s singing star ZOE CHILCO features jazz masters JOHN MacMURCHY on saxophone and clarinet, DANNY McERLAIN on piano, and VICTOR BATEMAN on bass, entertaining in the up-close-and-personal ambience of the Home Smith Bar.
