Jazz Tribute to Paul Simon

With Music Director Levon Ichkhanian

Paul Simon ranks as one the most accomplished songwriters of the 20th century. Many of his compositions are so well known they have become part of the standards repertoire. At 74 he announced his retirement from touring and released In the Blue Light, a new album that features Simon re-imagining several of his lesser known songs. He is backed by some of the world’s most accomplished jazz musicians.

On January 14th we look back at Paul Simon’s astonishing fifty year career and feature some of these lesser known songs as well as the classics such as “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” “Still Crazy After All These Years,” and “Graceland.”
