
Red Hot Ramble is a Toronto based band that was formed in 2010. RHR is a band that performs a collage of musical styles celebrating the multitude of musical styles originating in New Orleans including traditional jazz, blues, R&B, funk, street beats and second lines! They often describe their music as “from Dr. Jazz to Dr. John”. They’ve performed at jazz festivals in Southern Ontario, including The TD Toronto Jazz Festival, The All Canadian Port Hope Jazz Festival, The Forest Festival in Haliburton, The TD Oakville Jazz Festival, TD Brantford International Jazz Festival, Merrickville Jazz Festival to name a few. In addition, prior to the pandemic, they had a 12 year run of a Sunday monthly residency at The Rex Hotel Jazz & Blues Bar, performed at various clubs and venues in the Greater Toronto and Southern Ontario regions and currently have a monthly engagement at Toronto’s Smokeshow BBQ & Brew (formerly the Chick n’ Deli). Over the past several years, they hosted an annual sold out Mardi Gras Shows on Mardi Gras Day at Lula Lounge in Toronto.
Red Hot Ramble has released three CDs, ‘Red Hot Ramble’, ‘Some Swamp Stomp’ and ‘Today Will Be a Good Day!’, as well as a Christmas Holiday single, ‘Red Hot Holiday Ramble’ all available on popular digital sites. Their most recent CD ‘Today Will Be a Good Day’ has been warmly received.

In addition, their video based on the song ‘Marie Laveau‘ won several international video awards including Best Music Video ‘Feel the Reel’ International Film Festival 2021, Best American Music Video, Prague Music Video Awards 2021 and Best Music Video, Manheim Arts & Film Festival 2022.
The band consists of Roberta Hunt, (lead vocals/piano), JUNO nominee Alison Young (saxes/vocals), Jamie Stager (trombone/vocals), Jack Zorawski (bass/vocals) and Glenn Anderson (drums/vocals).
