Anton Yeretsky – Violin & Conductor
A symphony and opera conductor with over 20 years of experience, Anton Yeretsky is known for his captivating performances that blend intellectual depth with raw emotional intensity. With a PhD in Musicology, he has conducted in prestigious venues such as the Wiener Konzerthaus, Dresden Opera, and Tonhalle Zurich. His dynamic leadership and innovative programming bring fresh perspectives to classical repertoire, engaging both new and seasoned audiences. Beyond the stage, Anton is a dedicated advocate for music education and humanitarian causes, using music to heal and unite communities.
Veronika Anissimova – Mezzo-soprano
Veronika Anissimova has been praised for her “lovely presence” (Berkshire Fine Arts) and “impressively quick and precise coloratura” (Ludwig van Toronto). This season she is alto soloist in Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 with the Scarborough Philarmonic, in Jommelli’s Requiem with the St. Michael’s Schola Cantorum, and in Bach’s Mass in B Minor with the Toronto Choral Society.
Since taking part in Marilyn Horne’s The Song Continues series at Carnegie Hall in 2018, Veronika has presented recitals for the Arts & Letters Club of Toronto, the Linden Project, St. James Cathedral, Metropolitan United, and Concerts @100, and was an Art of Song fellow with the 2021 Toronto Summer Music Festival. Winner of the 2019 Hart House Orchestra Concerto Competition, she has since performed Mahler’s Rückert Lieder and Mozart’s Exsultate, jubilate with the Hart House Orchestra; other concert soloist appearances include Bach’s Christmas Oratorio with the Toronto Choral Society and the Talisker Players, Mozart’s Mass in C Major and Durante’s sacred works with St. Michael’s Schola Cantorum, and de Falla’s El Amor Brujo with the Scarborough Philarmonic.
Recent operatic roles include Prince Orlofsky in Die Fledermaus and Second Lady in Mozart’s Magic Flute with Opera York, Despina in Mozart’s Così fan tutte with the Toronto Lyric Opera Centre (Despina cover with Brott Opera 2021), Zulma in Rossini’s L’Italiana in Algeri with the Toronto Concert Orchestra, Polluce in Cavalli’s Elena with the Toronto Consort, and Sophie in Massenet’s Werther at the Lunenburg Academy of Music Performance. Winner of the 2014 National Gold Medal in voice performance at the Royal Conservatory of Music, Veronika holds a MMus (2018) in historical voice performance and a BMus (Honours, 2016) in piano and Italian studies from the University of Toronto. Dakota Scott-Digout – Piano
Originally from Nova Scotia, Toronto-based pianist Dakota Scott-Digout has been heard in recital across North America as both a collaborator and soloist, gaining praise particularly for his performances of chamber music and art song. Dakota serves on the artistic team of the Toronto Children’s Chorus, the VOCA Chorus of Toronto, Nathaniel Dett Chorale, and has enjoyed collaborations with the Elmer Isler Singers, Chroma Vocal Ensemble, and That Choir.
Recent projects have included an ongoing collaboration with Echo Chamber Toronto in their production A World Transformed, which intertwines art song and chamber music with dance. Additionally, Dakota was a featured artist alongside soprano Tracy Cantin and tenor Marcel d’Entremont during Debut Atlantic’s 2022/2023 concert season. Dakota is highly sought after in Toronto as a collaborative pianist, clinician, and serves as a pianist for voice performance classes at the University of Toronto. Dakota holds. degrees in piano performance from Université de Montréal and Mount Allison University.
Currently, he is pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts at the University of Toronto where he was named the 2020 winner of the Gwendolyn Koldofsky Prize in Accompanying, awarded to the top collaborative pianist at the Faculty of Music. He has further refined his skills at the Orford Music Academy, Barachois Summer Music Festival, Musique sur Mer with pianist Susan Manoff, and was an Art of Song Fellow as part of the Toronto Summer Music Festival in the summer of 2021. His principal teachers have included Stephen Runge, Jimmy Brière, and Steven Philcox. Particularly passionate about French vocal repertoire, Dakota’s research interests are centred around early twentieth century performance practice and the mélodies of Gabriel Fauré.
Zaida Nassirov – Cello
Zaida Nassirov graduated from Glenn Gould Professional School of the Royal Conservatory of Music with Honours ARCT Diploma and Licentiate in Performance. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Music at the Open University of British Columbia. Zaida is a first prize winner of the Azerbaijan Youth Competition. She toured in Europe and North America as a member of Chamber Orchestra “Ilham.” Zaida is a Provincial Finalist of the Canadian Music Competition in the Chamber Music Category. Throughout her professional career, Zaida has been performing with many different orchestras such as Toronto Sinfonietta, Ontario Philharmonic, Kindred Spirits and Casa Loma Symphony Orchestra. Seating is in a dining room setup, not traditional theatre-style. Some seats may face away from the stage to comfortably enjoy your meal. The seating arrangement is fixed for the entire night, so guests will not change seats after dinner.

Yes, smart casual attire is required and fascinator hats are always welcome! Jeans and sportswear are not permitted for either ladies or gentlemen for Afternoon Tea. Smart casual is somewhere between casual and business-casual.

If a reservation is cancelled, not attended or changed within 48 hours of the booked seating time, a $10 cancellation fee will be charged per guest to the credit card on file. Cancellations can be made by calling the Dining Room at 416-207-2020 or through OpenTable.

For A la carte and our entertainment events (Jazz Lounge / Saturday Dinner and Dancing / Romantic Thursdays), there is no seating time limit.
