Many-faceted guitarist, arranger, composer, educator, and prolific recording artist ANDREW SCOTT‘s music has been heard in concerts, on recordings, and in film and television projects for more than twenty years.   He swings on a repertoire of blues, ballads, and bebop that demonstrates a commitment to the rich tradition of jazz guitar, and entertainment excellence that has earned him a Toronto Independent Music Award, a Canadian Urban Music Award, four Canadian Smooth Jazz Awards, and two National Jazz Award nominations.

Scott has released five internationally recognized CDs, most recently his 2017 Top 50 North American jazz charting CellarLive release, The Brightest Minute, a recording that The WholeNote Magazine described as “…easily one of the best small jazz group recordings of the year…”.   In addition to his activities as a recording artist and performer, Dr. Scott is Acting Dean at Humber College’s School of Creative and Performing Arts.

This evening’s stellar ANDREW SCOTT TRIO features JON MEYER on bass and NORBERT BOTOS on drums, entertaining in the up-close-and-personal ambience of The Home Smith Bar.
