Great evening ! My wife and I along with friends decided on an evening out. We heard the Old Mill was hosting a Saturday night Abba tribute band. We cannot say enough about the experience; the place was fully booked with all ages. We saw many patrons dressed up according to the theme of Abba as well as for other important occasions. The place has a very unique ambiance; the food was excellent, we picked all different dishes from steak to seafood and pasta and a vegetarian dish. The portions are large, perfectly seasoned – very impressive thanks to their Chef. Good selections of Wines at very reasonable prices. The Abba cover band was awesome at keeping the guests entertained and on the dance floor – all in all they were spot on. There is an interlude between sets which gives you time to order desserts and/or specialty coffees, which we did. The staff were very attentive and happy, there was always water on the tables and constant service was delivered. Great table service. We had a conversation with patrons at an adjacent table and learned the Old Mill hosts all types of great bands for which you may have to book 6 months in advance you can find that information listed on their website. We were very happy with our evening out and when we were leaving we were warmly thanked by the host staff at the front door even though they must have been tired by 11 pm Come, see for yourself you will not be disappointed, Great job Old Mill we definitely will be back.

Four of us, ranging in age from 9 to 78, went for an early Mother’s Day dinner buffet. All four of us were delighted with the quick seating, the very attentive service throughout the meal, and the generally lovely ambience. The food was tremendously varied and well-prepared. With special diets from low cholesterol to keto, we could all still find a variety of tasty foods for our palate and our diets. We all enjoyed trying a little bit of a lot of things. We will definitely come back for another evening buffet when it is available. As well, the experience inclines my wife and I to visit for one of their regular luncheons as well. All in all a great experience that we all enjoyed.

We were seated in the original Tea Room and it was beautiful, just a tad noisy. There was lots of space between tables, and that was very pleasant. The food was delicious and the overall experience was incredible! We ordered a nut free tea and a vegetarian tea, and the server was very reassuring with all the questions we had.

Simply fantastic. I went to attend one of the Friday night Jazz sets and it was wonderful! Fifth Element were playing and they are great! Sitting and enjoying a meal in such a lovely venue with a live jazz band playing music is so worth it.

We ordered calamari, salmon and steak. Everything was very tasty and well prepared. Plating of the food was amazing too. Deserts were surprisingly good. We enjoyed the jazz show as well. All in all, it was an unforgettable dinner event for us. Thank you!

My husband and I dined here on Christmas Eve for the Old Mill’s Famous Christmas Buffet. It was excellent as always. The selection is just enormous and there’s everything you could imagine. The Roast Beef and Turkey from the Hot carving station was delicious, along with Yorkshire pudding and fabulous stuffing and cranberry sauce! We never miss this buffet if we are staying at home for Christmas. A big thank you to Karen, our waitress-she is phenomenal! So personal, so attentive and just a lovely person to talk to.

Celebrated Halloween with their live band and dinner celebration. The meal was delicious . Great variety to choose from . Great value. Our server took really good care of us and we were treated wonderfully. The band was amazing . Great music great dancing. Would definitely attend another event at Old Mill.

We had a lovely afternoon tea to celebrate our joint birthdays. Excellent staff who took great care of us and regularly topped up the hot water for our tea. All the food was excellent. Good variety in flavours and textures. Special shoutout for the delicious clotted cream. Wonderful experience. Looking forward to coming back in the future.

This might be the best buffet dining (or brunching) experience in the city. Variety, freshness, food quality, presentation, service… all very high standard. Pricing is towards the high end, and value is comparable. Expect food, a beverage or two, taxes and tip to end up in the 90pp range. Reserve early, this is a favourite spot for family festivities… birthdays, showers, anniversaries and reunions. Deservedly so.

Beautiful first experience for my birthday and extremely accommodating in terms of allergies. Great service and general vibe. Definitely will be back soon – may be my new favourite place!

We went to the Fleetwood Mac Tribute Show with a group of 12. The band was excellent! The dinner options were great, the service great and a great time was had by all! My group wants to go back for another evening of dinner and dancing soon.

The Old Mill is such a special and unique setting, whose grace makes any occasion more special. It was a great place to entertain an out-of-town guest coming from a city where everything is modern. The variety of foods at the buffet is extraordinary. A huge variety of choices and many of them quite creative. It is possible to find tasty choices for any diet…. and we did As always, service is attentive and professional. All in all, a delightful visit. Can’t wait to come back again!

This was a very romanticly driven night of Valentine’s evening dinner and dance. Attention to detail, delicious food and an entertainer with a beautiful voice and talent on the piano made it a great evening.

Elvis personifier was able to totally entertain and motivate restaurant guests to dance. He was able to genuinely connect with patrons and enrich celebrations! His talent and performance made the evening worthwhile. We totally enjoyed ourselves.

Went for a high tea experience and was really impressed. The sandwiches and scones were all yummy and the desserts were very tasty. I liked my tea so much I am buying a box of it ! We went for a walk around the grounds afterwards and really enjoyed the whole experience. Definitely recommend 🙂

Good to have the Old Mill afternoon tea experience. The service was great even the children gave thumbs up. They told the parents the service treated them as a lady and gentlemen.

What a fun night – dinner and dancing was fantastic ! Loved the people and the atmosphere. Just right for a fun night out without the hassle of going downtown.

The Halloween dinner and dance were spooktacular! The Old Mill restaurant never disappoints – great food, service, ambiance, and an outstanding band.

We had a fabulous time on our girl’s night out dancing away at the amazing Fleetwood Mac cover Band. They were awesome. We had the best view from our table and choose to have appetizers instead of a meal. We absolutely loved the Mediterranean Fatbread, the Old Mill salad with shaved brussel sprouts, fries with Aioli, finished off with the cheesecake. Yummmm! Marian was our server and we enjoyed her presence and service. She made our evening very relaxed and fun. We felt well taken care of.

The Thanksgiving Buffet was our second experience, after New Year’s Eve. Great, great, great. From the decorations, to the huge buffet set up on the dance floor, to the staff and the secret sauce of their service ethos, to the diverse mix of families happily enjoying the ambiance, this evening did not disappoint. The turkey and the roast beef anchored an all-you-can-eat buffet that is unrivalled in the City. (We have been to the big, great holiday buffet at the big hotel in Whistler and this was better.) A visit from the dining room manager, Danielle, was a nice personal touch and solidified our desire to come back for NYE. Thank you!
