Every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday throughout the Fall and Winter, the Home Smith Bar at the Old Mill Toronto showcases some of the most important instrumentalists and leading vocalists on today’s jazz scene performing for your pleasure in the cozy intimacy of one of Toronto’s best loved lounges.

He was the featured soloist in the hit musical ‘Fosse’ where he recreated Benny Goodman’s legendary performance of ‘Sing, Sing, Sing’ at Carnegie Hall, and in 2008, DeAngelis’s own 50-piece Champagne Symphony staged a triumphant Carnegie Hall concert in New York when they performed in the 70th anniversary celebration of Goodman’s famous 1938 concert there. In 2009, he was named National Jazz Awards’ “Clarinetist of the Year”.
This evening’s all-star BOB DeANGELIS TRIO features jazz masters BOB DeANGELIS (clarinet, saxophone), DANNY McERLAIN on piano, and RON JOHNSTON on bass, entertaining in the up-close-and-personal ambience of The Home Smith Bar.
